Day 3 of the long haul from Camping Malartic to Camping Au Plateau 5 Étoiles (Just north of Montreal) — another 549 km ticked off on the march toward PEI.
We kicked things off by ordering Starbucks in French. Managed it, but I’ll admit French has never felt like a language my brain naturally wants to cooperate with.
At least the cycling race had finally vanished from our route, though roadworks were still everywhere — and some of the bumpiest pavement I’ve ever encountered in Canada. I‑spy even got a new entry: C for Corner, which felt like a refreshing change from the endless straight lines the navigation had been insisting on for days.





We rolled in, set up, then headed out for groceries before settling in for dinner. Georgie and I seem to have slipped into a routine of drinking Corona Cero — yes, the non‑alcoholic one. Somehow it’s become our thing.
