We decided to go back to one of the RV dealers to look at a different trailer that we had thought was good but we could not remember why we liked it.
So off to Bucars RV we went to look at the 2024 Venture Sonic 190VRB…
The 2024 was a nice trailer it did not have a slide which meant is was less spacious then the Bullet but it did have a sofa under the Murphey bed (Yes, I know we said no Murphey beds but willing to compromise) and a dinette which meant you had two places to sit if you wanted. Also not having a slide-out meant that it was easier to get into tight camping spots and also you can access everything in it without having to put the slide out.
Also a big thing for me was the bed size, a lot of trailers claim the beds are 80″ x 60″ but my feet hang over the end of the bed, the Venture the bed was long enough for me to get all of me on the bed which was a huge plus.
The Ventures are well appointed and have nice features and seem solidly built and as Georgie said it was more like what she had envisioned for us when travelling across Canada and that the Bullet seemed a little bit too upmarket.
We then looked at the 2025 version of the same trailer and realized they had added a few things that made the 2025 much nicer than the 2024 model. They had added draws under the sofa, increased the fridge size, made the way the bed rested on the sofa much more secure and stable. All in all the 2025 was a nicer trailer and a better fit and was only $2000 more.
So now we are currently of the opinion that we might be going with the 2025 Venture Sonic 190VRB…
